The painting is of Lloyds Bank in Cambridge, It has a fine Victorian tiled dome.
As I sketched, I felt the empty spaces needed music, So I put in a trio to entertain the customers.

The image shows the commissioning of an electron microscope in the research laboratories of the John Innes Centre, Norwich. It was part of a “Residency” at the John Innes Centre during 1998.
